Long-term care insurance agent, Marcia Magus, has helped families with Long-Term Care Planning since 1997. Marcia’s first exposure to long-term care began when she was nine years old. That was when she watched her mom care for her grandmother who couldn’t walk due to complications from diabetes.

Licensed in several states, Marcia Magus resides in Sarasota, Florida. Her mission is to help educate and protect consumers from the significant financial and psychological costs of needing long-term care. Several financial advisers and other professionals call on Marcia to educate their clients on the importance of long-term care planning. Marcia’s goal is to help those families and individuals make well informed decisions on protecting their financial future before their age and/or health prevent them from being insurable.  Appointments are most often held via a secure meeting site on the internet.

Before working as an independent insurance agent, Marcia Magus worked as a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBC), helping federal employees and retirees, maximize and protect their retirement assets. This included comparing the Federal Group Plan with Individual Plans to identify their most cost-effective long term care solution. Marcia also worked as an LTC insurance trainer for Prudential Financial Career Agents. She taught them the details of the Prudential long term care plan and the best practices for protecting their clients’ wealth.

Today, Marcia Magus is an independent long-term care advisor representing all major insurance companies. She provides her clients with healthcare and financial planning solutions such as:
